This maddening world is maddening.
History is told then retold.
An increase in violence that violates the sanctity of this thing called humanity.
When humans actively choose to disregard humanism,
Is there anything left to save of humanity?
An idealist not solely focused on ideals.
A pragmatist wishing to be pragmatic.
Maybe a little bit of both which I find bothersome.
Bothering to care can make a tired person see it as tiresome.
But the pain I see cannot be unseen.
As a human that believes in humanity.
As someone who feels what others feel.
How can I ignore these maddening thoughts of this maddening world?
