Feeling Feelings Day 61

I spy with my little eye

Something that is about to die.

In a world bogged down by greed,

Darkness is guaranteed.

Kindness should supersede

Selfishness.

Kindness.

An idea that seems just out of reach.

An idea that we must teach.

As we watch this descent,

We should remember what progress was meant to prevent.

Side Note- I wrote the lines below for the picture above but I changed my mind. I like what I wrote above better.

I plucked a wish from a star.

I housed its warmth in my heart.

I shared it through my words.

I hoped it found its way to those in need.
