A Dare
A girl who dared to dream
Gazed at the wall the others had built.
When she spoke to it,
It stood still.
When she touched it,
It grew.
When she scaled it,
She fell.
When she punched it,
She bled.
When she wept,
It was silent.
Sitting at the base of it,
She waited.
She listened
And she learned.
With an undiscovered world
Hiding behind it,
She smiled
Then she tried again.
