Once upon a time,
I plucked you from the sky
And called you mine.
Many moons rose and fell
While my mind marched slowly
Towards uncertainty.
The light in my eyes dimmed.
Laughter had a faint sweet taste.
The sun’s warmth wrapped me in its cold embrace.
An unknown enemy crept like a thief in the night and stole
What I thought was mine.
Once a upon a time,
The begining had been written.
The middle was being written.
And the end was the end.
